Youth kidnapped from Myanmar found dead near Mizoram border.

Aizawl: Youth kidnapped Two teenage siblings from Myanmar, whose relatives are taking shelter in Mizoram’s Zokhawthar village, have been found dead in a forest in Haimual village of Chin State, Myanmar.

According to reports, Youth kidnapped the bodies of a girl and her younger brother have been recovered from the forest.

According to reports, the teenage siblings were ‘kidnapped’ or ‘arrested’ by the Myanmar military on August 14 following clashes between the Tatmadaw (Myanmar Army) and local resistance militias.

Tatmadaw (Myanmar Army) personnel reportedly set fire to several houses in Haimual village, killing many people in the blaze.
The deceased Myanmar youths have been identified as Lalnunpuii(17) and his younger brother Lalruatmawia (15).
The deceased siblings are reportedly the children of a commander of the People’s Defense Force (PDF).

PDF Myanmar is fighting against the military junta to restore democracy in the country.

The bodies of the teenage siblings were found in shallow graves in the forest on Tuesday.
Relatives of the deceased siblings, who were taking shelter in Zokhawthar village in Mizoram, returned to Himul village in Myanmar’s Chin state after receiving the unfortunate news.

A proper funeral and cremation was held for the teenage siblings on Tuesday afternoon.

According to reports, small and large clashes between the army and local resistance militias have been going on for more than a week in Myanmar’s Chin state.
