Imphal: A Joint Action Committee (JAC) has refused to accept the dead body of a woman who was killed in a drone attack in Manipur.
The JAC refused to accept Ngangbam Surbala’s body despite the Chief Minister having given assurance to the former demands.
The JAC is demanding to translate the assurances into reality first.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh and representatives of the JAC have a meeting at the CM’s secretariat on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the JAC convenor Ningthoujam Popilal submitted an eight charter of demands.
