Vote wisely to save democracy, Congress leader Pawan Khera
Guwahati: Congress leader Pawan Khera, during a speech in Assam’s Dibrugarh on Tuesday, appealed to voters to vote wisely to save democracy and the Constitution of India.
“I appeal to all voters to vote wisely and vote to save democracy and the constitution,” Khera said.
People join BJP because they use fear to threaten them. Those who do not fall into their trap are put behind bars using ED and CBI,” Khera said.
This election is very important for the country. People are constantly in fear that if the BJP comes back to power, there may not be any more elections.
He claimed that the BJP government is misusing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) if opposition leaders raise their voice against them.
Pawan Khera said, “If we form the government then those officers who help the BJP illegally would not be spared. We will take action against them.”
The Congress leader further raised the question of why the four-lane highway in Assam has not been completed despite being commissioned several years ago.
