
Two civil workers abducted by NSCN (K-YA) fighters in Longding district
Itanagar: Three armed cadres of the militant group NSCN (K-YA) on November 16 abducted two civilian laborers from a makeshift labor camp near the Tsa River in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh on Kunsa Pongchau Road.
According to sources, the abduction took place at 4 am after which the laborers were taken to Kunno Zero Point in a Bolero pick-up truck.
The vehicle was then intercepted at Kano and the armed operatives allegedly proceeded towards the Indo-Myanmar border.
The abducted laborers have been identified as Shashank Yadav resident of Uttar Pradesh and Lemgaw Gowam of Nginu village.
They were working under Shatrughan Singh of the BTRF project. The entire abduction was allegedly carried out by NSCN (K-YA) faction SS Lt Col Botai Wangsu and SS Lt Abojak Wangnu.
