Tipra will protest in Delhi
Agartala: Tipra will protest in Delhi ,Tipra Party in Tripura has announced that it will hold a massive demonstration at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on December 1.
The Tipra Party said the demonstration would be held to press for their demand for a constitutional solution to empower the indigenous people of Tripura.
Before this, Tipra Party will hold a rally of Swami Vivekananda in Agartala, Tripura on November 12.
During the rally in Agartala, the Tipra Party in Tripura will highlight its issues and intensify its agitation ahead of the assembly elections in the state.
TIPRA Party Chairman Pradivat Debbarman has reiterated that his party will not tie up with any party for the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura.
He said that the Tipra party will not ally with any party until it commits to resolve the issues of the tribals as per the constitution.
Criticizing the ruling BJP in Tripura, Pradevat said: “To confuse people they resorted to a false campaign of corruption and marginalization in ADC areas under the TIPRA government.”
“Despite the Tripura High Court’s directive, the state government has not yet conducted village committee elections in ADC areas because they know, the BJP has no chance of getting elected,” said Pradevat Debbarma.
He added: “BJP does not believe in democratic systems and principles, which the people of Tripura do not like. They will get a befitting reply in the next assembly elections as the party has not fulfilled any of its election promises.”
