Tripura: Radhanagar Battalion seized Marijuana in Dhalai district

Guwahati: Radhanagar Battalion of Agartala Sector Assam Rifles under Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) on January 4, 2023 seized 226 kg hashish worth Rs 90 lakh from Dhalai district of Tripura.

Based on the confirmed information, Radhanagar Battalion and Ambassa Police Station launched a joint operation. The team seized 226 kg of ganja worth Rs 90 lakh and arrested a driver named Dulal Dey and his accomplice Biplab Debnath along with a vehicle.
The men, along with the vehicle and seized marijuana, were handed over to the Ambassa Police for further investigation.
