Agartala: A team of Assam Rifles seized 188 kg of suspected Marijuana worth Rs 84.60 lakh in Sepahijala, Tripura on Sunday.
The items were seized from the general area of Apurba Shil village in Sepahijala District, Tripura.
A source said that based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by the Assam Rifles and Customs Department.
The team seized 188 kgs of Marijuana worth approx Rs 84.60 Lakh hidden at a warehouse and nearby forest in General Area Apurba Shil, Tripura.
The seized contents were handed over to the Customs Department for further investigation & legal proceedings.
