Tripura: Five arrested for robbery in Agartala

Agartala: Police have arrested five people after investigating a robbery case in Jayanagar, Agartala.
The five were arrested on Monday night, nearly two months after the September 23 heist.
On that day, a woman stole her gold ornaments after which a complaint was lodged at the West Police Station.
Based on the complaint, the police started an investigation and traced two persons on Monday night.
Police arrested two people, Amrit Rai and Sagar Nama, late on Monday night.
On Tuesday morning, the police managed to arrest a total of five people while continuing further investigation.
The police are now interrogating all the accused in the case as to how they functioned.
