Tripura CM criticize state govt employees, Happy on govt efforts

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday appeared to criticize government doctors working for the state government.

He said that despite the relentless efforts of the government to provide various benefits to the employees, the results are not impressive.
Dr. Saha, however, did not clarify whether he was referring to the election results or the performance of the employees. But he mentioned that his statement was directed at government doctors.

Dr. Saha did not clarify whether he was referring to the election results or the performance of employees, but he specifically mentioned that his statement was aimed at government doctors. This is important because the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party performs poorly in terms of employee votes.
Out of the 64,000 cast in the postal ballot, only 23,000 went to the saffron party. An internal party review revealed that a significant number of Tripura civil servants did not vote for the party despite receiving a “bumper” DA hike ahead of the elections.
During his speech at the main function of World Oral Health Day held at Rabindra Satbarshiki Bhavan, Dr. Saha said, “The government is committed to solving the problems of all our citizens. We are looking for doctors in all fields to facilitate further recruitment. Steps are being taken to increase the cadre strength. Unfortunately, the results are not satisfactory. I request all the health service professionals to work diligently and complete their assigned tasks within the stipulated time.
Dr. Saha continued, “Despite efforts to increase dearness allowance and help employees get their rightful benefits, we are disappointed with the results. As the government works to take Tripura to new heights, all “Employees should play a positive role instead of showing non-cooperation. I see no reason to disagree with the government’s vision.”
Further, the Chief Minister expressed dismay at the lifestyle of some doctors, saying, “As doctors, we advise people to avoid certain things, but it is disappointing to see that our own profession is doing these things. involved in things. Only then can we have the moral authority to rebuke others.”

However, Dr. Saha did not use a suggestive tone during his speech.
He also informed the gathering of doctors that the state government has decided to increase the number of cadre of dental surgeons. “The sanctioned number of dental surgeons in Tripura Health Services was 78, but we have revised the service rules to increase it to 287. We plan to deploy dental surgeons in all PHCs, CHCs, Sub-Divisional and District Hospitals. “, he added.
