Agartala: Tipra Motha Supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Burman on Tuesday said that tribals in Tripura have been deprived for 70 years.
“On the death anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar, we reiterate our demand for a permanent constitutional solution,” Burman said. We are confident that very soon the Government of India will be forced to act on his vision and accept our demand for Greater Tipland.
He said that Tripura has given a lot to India but the state now has to fight for the rights of its sons.
“Tiprasa has come to demand greater tip land from Tripura to Delhi so that this demand can be conveyed to the Delhi government. And the Delhi government will have to listen to the zamindars of Tripura.”
Tipra Matha leader Pradyot Kishore Deb Burman said this on the second day of the Delhi campaign on Tuesday.
“For a long time, the tribals of Tripura have been deprived. In the ADC area of Tripura, no schools, roads, or drinking water facilities have been developed. Tiprasa is far behind. That is, Tiprasa is on its own land is like a beggar”, he added.
