Tura: Garo Students Union (GSU) met Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and demanded rescheduling of NEHU or CUET examinations to be held this month due to clash of dates.
A memo was submitted regarding their demands.
CUET is scheduled to be held either on June 12 in Shillong or Guwahati (Geography in Afternoon Shift) after which students are expected to appear for their NEHU exams the next day on June 13.
“It will not be possible for them to attend an exam in Guwahati/Shillong before going to Tura overnight to take their exams the next morning. Therefore, we will reschedule the CUET or NEHU exams to a later date for the sake of the students. try to do,” Balgra said.
