Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet on Wednesday gave its approval to amend the Arunachal Pradesh State Industrial and Investment Policy 2020.
A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pema Khandu approved the amended policy to make the state a preferred destination for investment, provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, state-of-the-art technological skills and a conducive environment for employment generation includes providing the system for balanced regional development

The Cabinet further approved the formulation of Arunachal Pradesh Home Guard Rules 2023.

Strengthening the district administration for administrative convenience for the people of Arunachal Pradesh, the Council of Ministers approved the creation of 414 emergency posts for various administrative units in Arunachal Pradesh.
The Cabinet approved creation of 293 Group “C” and “MTS” posts for various administrative centers in Arunachal Pradesh and further approved creation of 60 posts for various administrative centers across the state.
The Cabinet approved the creation of two more new circles Pay Circle with its headquarters at Rikmum Riangio and ii) Tali Administrative Center by splitting Newark Circle. Circle Office, Pipsorang has been upgraded to Sub Divisional Office and Circle Office Chambang has been upgraded to SDO for administrative convenience.
The Cabinet also approved three important regulations for proper management of solid waste in the state, namely Arunachal Pradesh Solid Waste (Management and Handling) Bye-laws 2023, Plastic Waste Management Bye-laws 2023 and Construction and Demolition Waste Management Bye-laws 2023.
The proposal to amend the “Arunachal Pradesh Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2020” has received positive approval from the Cabinet to pave the way for early establishment of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (REAT) has gone Under the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 of the Central Government.

The Cabinet has approved the formation of a Special Tiger Protection Force (STPF) in the state as per the guidelines of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) for the three tiger reserves of the state Namdapha, Pakke and Kamlang 336 regular posts will be created.
“STPF was formed to protect tigers and their habitats, preserve wildlife habitats, prevent trafficking of wildlife products, protect and safeguard the assets of tiger reserves including the Department of Environment, Forests and Climate Change. will lead to scientific management of forests,” the release said.
“The STPF will be a dedicated and specialized force having its own structure and composition as required by the Tiger Reserves.
The force will consist of a company of 112 personnel for 3 Tiger Reserves in the state and each company will have 3 platoons and will be divided into 18 parts.
“For the preservation and promotion of their dialects and languages ​​of the various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh, the Cabinet approved the provision of lump sum honorarium to all third language teachers of the various tribes who have prepared their scripts at the rate of Rs.1000 per month in a year.
At present 1043 language teachers are engaged and this decision of the cabinet will encourage the third language subjects of the respective tribes from the elementary level.
