Agartala: Tripura police on Tuesday arrested three Rohingya migrants from an area near Agartala railway station. The three, including two minor girls and an adult man, were on their way to Delhi, police said. Police sources said that there is a possibility of their involvement in the human trafficking nexus.

One of the minor girls said that she had reached Tripura to board the Delhi-bound train. He added that one of his sisters lives in Delhi, which is why he decided to go there for help. Muhammad Farooq, the group’s only adult member, said the three were from the same village and were helping them reach Delhi.”All of them will be produced in court on Wednesday with a prayer for police remand,” police said.
