Thousands Of Students Hold Protest Rally Against Kidnapping Of Minor

Great many understudies took part in a tranquil dissent rally on Tuesday at Ukhrul Headquarters against the hijacking of a 12-year-old minor and an understudy on June 10, 2022 at around 4pm. The understudies presented a notice to the Education Minister, Government of Manipur through the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul.

The peaceful protest rally was organized by Association of Recognised Schools Ukhrul District (ARSUD) against the kidnapping of a minor who was a school student in Ukhrul District Headquarters on June 10, 2022 at around 4:00pm.

The rally flagged of from North and South point of Ukhrul Headquarters at 10:00am and 10:30am respectively and converge at Mini Secretariat Complex. Thousands of students in school uniform participated the peaceful protest rally and submitted a memorandum to the Education Minister, Government of Manipur, through the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul.

DC of Ukhrul, Krishna Kumar while getting the update at the door of Mini Secretariat Complex guaranteed the agents of ARSUD that he will promptly advance the notice to the Education Minister. That’s what he expressed “examination is continuing and move will be initiated at the earliest opportunity.”

The update expressed that on June 10, the understudy was headed to a training base at on 4pm. He was “got by five (5) ruffians and was tranquilized. Later following an hour he was found deserted in a disconnected spot stuffed in a gunny pack”.

“The issue has made alarm and a feeling of uncertainty to all the school going understudies and guardians specifically amd people in general overall.
