Guwahati: As the Dibrugarh University ragging case continues, a five-month pregnant teacher was allegedly abused and threatened by Class XI students at a school in Moran.
The teacher was reportedly attacked by a group of students after she informed her parents about her poor performance.
The teacher was surrounded by students who were all boys and was rescued after some girls of the hostel informed other teachers.
After the incident, the school administration has started action, terming it as unfortunate.
The principal of the school said that the parents of the students were called and asked to take the students home but their parents also refused to take them home.
According to reports, 22 people have been identified and action has been started against them.
