The new Chief Minister of Tripura called on President Kovind, Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah.

New Delhi: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Wednesday called on President Ram Nath Kavand, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah here.

This was Saha’s first visit to the national capital since taking over as chief minister of the northeastern state on May 15.
It is a great honor to have the opportunity to meet His Excellency the President of the Republic of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kavandji at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. I sought his blessings for my forthcoming journey as Chief Minister of Tripura, ”Saha tweeted.

Rashtrapati Bhavan also tweeted: “Dr. Manik Saha, Chief Minister of Tripura along with his wife Ms. Sopna Saha met President Ram Nath Kavand at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”

During his meeting, Defense Minister Singh wished Saha a successful tenure.

“I met the Chief Minister of Tripura نئی DrManikSaha2G in New Delhi today. I am sure he will take his state on the path of development and prosperity. The Defense Minister tweeted that I also wish him a successful tenure.” ۔
