Itanagar: The Center has approved 27 road projects worth Rs 553 crore in Arunachal Pradesh, officials said here on Monday.
Referring to a letter written by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiran Rijiju, he said that these projects were approved under Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), which The aim was to improve road connectivity in the border state.

In this regard, I am pleased to share with you, your request the proposals received from the State Government for the development and construction of 27 roadways in your State at a cost of Rs 553.48 crore approved with allocation.
The projects include the construction of a 14-kilometer road from Boa Sango to Naomi in Kra Daadi District, widening and improvement of the road from Seram to Bijari in East Siang District, and construction of a road in Mechuka Township in Shi Yumi District. Said.
