Swaraj Shankar Gogoi AASU leader died in a road accident

Guwahati: An All Assam Students Union (AASU) leader from Lakhimpur district of the state lost his life in a road accident on Thursday night.
The deceased AASU leader has been identified as Swaraj Shankar Gogoi.
Swaraj Shankar Gogoi is the secretary of Lakhimpur district unit of All Assam Students Union (AASU).
The incident took place along National Highway (NH)-15 in Kona Nadi area under Bogeenadi Police Station in Lakhimpur district of Assam.
The accident occurred when the vehicle he was driving, a Swift bearing registration number AS-07-T-1986, lost control.
The vehicle hit a tree before plunging into a deep ditch.

Gogoi’s untimely death has caused an atmosphere of mourning in the entire district.
