Sushri Anusuiya Uikye is new appointed Governor of Manipur

Imphal: Sushri Anusuiya Uikye was appointed as the new Governor of Manipur on Sunday, replacing La Ganesan who has shifted to Nagaland.

The appointment was announced by the President of the Republic of India.
Earlier, Uikye was serving as the Governor of Chhattisgarh since 2019.

Welcoming the new Governor, CM N Biren Singh tweeted, “Heartiest welcome to Sushri Anusuiya Uikye on being appointed as the new Governor of Manipur. I am sure the people of Manipur will be very happy under your leadership. Will see progress.
The Chief Minister added, “Also, I wish La Ganesan all the best in his new post as the Governor of Nagaland.
