Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, Karni Sena Chief shot dead in Jaipur

Jaipur: Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena president, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, was fatally shot in Jaipur on Tuesday by unidentified assailants.

The incident occurred around 1.45 pm when Gogamedi was outside his residence. Two individuals on a scooter reportedly opened fire and subsequently escaped.

The CCTV video shows the fringe outfit leader looking at his phone when the men sitting across him stood up and fired at him. One of his guards was seen trying to stop the gunmen who then fired a couple of shots at him.

“They (the attackers) sat with Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi for at least 10 minutes before shooting him.” said police.

Following the shooting, Gogamedi was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Ajit Singh, who was with Gogamedi at the time of the incident, sustained serious injuries.
