State First, Tribe Next, Self Last: Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the first ‘Arunachal Yuva Samanoi’ organized by the State Department of Youth Affairs here, Khandu said that first your interest, then the tribe you belong to and finally the tendency to maintain the state should be changed. ۔ In Jerampur, Changlong District.
He reiterated the concept of ‘Pan Arunachal’ as the sole mantra for the overall development of the state and the welfare of its people. He said that dreaming and working together keeping in view every tribe and part of the state is the only way forward.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Khandu said the current trend of thinking for oneself and the tribe must first be changed.
We must put the interests of the state first, the tribe first and our caste first. Then we will develop as a state, “he said.
Khandu explained that since there are many tribes in the state, which are culturally miles apart, the planning should be based on the Pan-Arunachal concept so that each tribe gets an equal share in the development.
“And the concept of Pan Arunachal should start with everyone, especially the youth,” he said.
Praising the success of Arunachal Yuva Samanoe, which started on May 6 and was attended by youth from all 26 tribes of the state, Khandu announced that the event would become the state government’s annual calendar event. He requested the Minister for Youth Affairs, Mama Natting, who was present at the function, to immediately submit a proposal to the state cabinet for consideration in this regard.

“This is the best platform for our youth, who will be running the state tomorrow, blending in, getting to know each other’s culture, earning and respecting each other, fostering brotherhood.” And Pan Arunachal will sow the seeds of imagination. It will be a solid platform to take our unity to the highest level in diversity, ”he observed.
Khandu suggested that the event be held in different parts of the state every year so that the youth of other parts of the state would have the opportunity to explore different parts of their state and tribes.
