SRK discloses first Valentine’s Day Present to his wife Gauri Khan

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday said he gave his wife and interior designer Gauri Khan “pink plastic earrings” as their first Valentine’s Day gift.

In an #AskSRK session on Twitter, the “Pathan” star posed “funny” questions on Valentine’s Day and cinema.
When asked by a user what his first Valentine’s Day gift was for his wife, Shah Rukh said: “It’s been 34 years if I remember correctly, I think a pair of pink plastic earrings “.

Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan were married for six years before getting married in 1991. They have three children: Aaryan, 25, Suhana, 22, and Abram, 9.
Another fan asked what gift the star would like from his fans on Valentine’s Day.

Shah Rukh said that he has already received his gift in the form of “#pathan ke bhaat pyaar”.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, “Pathan” is a high-octane spy thriller that has become the biggest hit Hindi film of the year so far with a worldwide gross box office collection close to Rs 1,000 crore.
The actor, who started his career on the Delhi theater circuit and in television, said the first thing he does to research a character is to break down “how the character moves”.

On Valentine’s Day, another Shah Rukh film – the 1995 romantic classic “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (DDLJ) was re-released by Yash Raj Films, which is also the production banner behind “Pathan”.
Asked whether “DDLJ” or “Pathan” should be watched today, the 57-year-old actor said: “On Valentine’s Day it should be #PathanDay..”

Some fans wanted Shah Rukh to say a few words about his “Pathan” co-star Deepika Padukone and megastar Amitabh Bachchan, with whom he has worked in films like “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham…” and “Mohabbatein”.
He said, “Deepika is loving and very warm and beautiful.
For the actor, Bachchan is “the only legend”.

Expressing surprise over Sharon Stone’s viral video when she realized she was sitting next to Shah Rukh at last year’s Red Sea Film Festival, one user asked what he would say about the moment that The Hollywood actor left “Starstruck”.

“Sharon may not know this but I am her biggest fan. She is the most beautiful and intelligent woman!!!” commented the actor.
When a fan asked him for an answer to the question of whether he would have to make a sequel to ‘Fan’ if he didn’t get an answer, Shah Rukh replied in his humorous style: ‘I’m not going to make ‘Fan 2’ anyway. Do what you like to do. … ha ha.

The actor also spoke about working with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani in his upcoming social comedy Dunki.
“Working with Raju sir is a dream come true. Learned a lot from him and his filmmaking. I’m really lucky and he’s a lot of fun,” he said.

Asked what he hopes to do in the future, the star said: “I just hope to entertain you all.”

Apart from “Dinky”, Shah Rukh also has Atlee’s action thriller “Jawan” in the pipeline.
