Kaziranga: AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday urged young researchers and scientists to explain the benefits of AYUSH system of medicine to people in their mother tongues so that it reaches a larger section of the society.
Inaugurating the ministry’s two-day ‘Chintan Shivr’ at Kaziranga National Park in Assam, Sonowal said AYUSH is important for the ‘Heal in India and Heal by India’ ecosystem.
A lot of research is needed in this area, and its fruits should reach a larger section of the society – both within the country and globally, he said.
