Sonowal ask researchers to explain Ayush benefits to people

Kaziranga: AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday urged young researchers and scientists to explain the benefits of AYUSH system of medicine to people in their mother tongues so that it reaches a larger section of the society.

Inaugurating the ministry’s two-day ‘Chintan Shivr’ at Kaziranga National Park in Assam, Sonowal said AYUSH is important for the ‘Heal in India and Heal by India’ ecosystem.
A lot of research is needed in this area, and its fruits should reach a larger section of the society – both within the country and globally, he said.

“With the help of digital and technological advancements, the power of AYUSH can be harnessed from primary health to specialized health centers,” he said.
