TURA: Meghalaya Gov Scam, the All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers Association (AGHSSASTA) has accused the Conrad Sangma-led government of releasing funds to pay their three-month salary arrears. has issued a fake order in which money has not actually been deposited in the respective accounts.
The teachers had recently issued a statement along with a copy of the alleged fake order, which was given to SSA District Mission Coordinators of various districts by Education Secretary and SSA State Project Director A Chaudhry Mark.
The alleged fake order dated September 28, 2022 announced the release of Rs 109,73,73,100 for payment of salaries for three months from June to August.
“We have no way to collect our salaries as the state government has released funds only in words. The teachers alleged that the salary release order was issued without crediting the various district accounts.
The association, questioning how the government could issue a distribution order without a loan, demanded an urgent explanation from the state government on the matter.
The association also questioned the recent statement of Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui, who announced the sanction of Rs 272.46 crore for payment of outstanding dues including eight months of outstanding arrears of 2016-17 PAB.
