RRI (H) Guwahati launches Homeopathy for School Health Program.

RRI (H) is the first institution under the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy to launch this program.
RRI (H) Guwahati Officer-in-Charge said, “AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is also acting as a catalyst in promoting homeopathy as an alternative. It is because of him and his continued support. Today, Assam has become the first state to launch such an important program.
Outlining the initiative in detail, the program’s nodal officer, Dr. Lee Carso, said, “Children are the future of the country and improving and promoting their health plays a vital role in nation building.”
He added that this year the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy has launched the Homeopathy for School Health program to include homeopathic practices in lower primary schools so that more children can benefit from it.
Dr. Carso thanked the Ministry of AYUSH and CCRH for selecting RRI (H) as the pioneer of the School Health Program. The project is currently being implemented in 10 Lower Primary (Class 1 to Class 5) government schools in the city.
The Institute recently conducted an introductory and training program for 10 selected Homeopathic Consultants. An interactive session was also held where doctors were allotted schools.
A series of meetings have already been held with the principals and teachers of all the 10 selected schools. In addition, the process of setting up a Homoeopathic Clinic for screening of children has been started.
