New Delhi: Arunachal Pradesh has been an integral part of India since ancient times, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Tuesday.

Rijiju said that the government is making efforts to connect culturally diverse states and regions and the Kashi Tamil Sangamam event is a good example.

The Union Minister said that now India has emerged as the number one soft power as the world recognizes the importance of New Delhi. He said that now the respect of Indians on foreign soil is a recognition of its soft power status.
