Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) observes freedom demand day

Imphal: The major freedom seeking outfit Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) on Sunday celebrated its 45th foundation day as ‘Demand for Freedom Day’.
Independence Day was celebrated at all units, departments and stations of the party and its armed wing PLA, said a press release issued by the organization’s deputy secretary for publicity Roben Khuman.
The demand for Independence Day was celebrated in various divisions of Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) Central Bureau along with local people where party flags, festoons and stars were displayed.
It said the main highlights of the 45th Foundation Day will be saluting the party flag, paying homage to all the martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of Manipur and RPF Acting President M. M Ngouba’s message to the people was to be read.
It also wished that the message on the 45th foundation day of RPF should promote unity, peaceful co-existence, collective struggle and victory among all races.
