Union Minister Rameshwar Teli on Monday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mainstreamed “development politics”, making it the focal point around which political discourse and policy action now revolve.
Rameshwar Teli, who visited Itanagar to mark the completion of nine years of the Modi government at the Centre, said the prime minister was steadfast in his commitment to put “India first” in every policy formulation and action.
“This commitment is evident in the government’s handle on external and internal security, economic management, empowerment schemes for marginalized groups and cultural preservation efforts,” said the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas.
“In the last nine years, there has been a paradigm shift in the delivery of public services and the implementation of government schemes using JAM Trinity Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile,” he said.
He said that under the NDA government, infrastructure has developed at a rapid pace.
“The completion of infrastructure projects that have been delayed for decades, as well as the initiation and completion of new ones, has been the cornerstone of this government’s development approach,” the minister asserted.
He said that in stark contrast to the earlier piecemeal approach to development, the Modi government has brought in a culture of holistic development that leaves no one behind.
The Union Minister said that the Indiradhanush Company has started laying pipelines in North Eastern states to provide piped gas services to the people.
