
Rajnath, defense minister is on 2 day visit of Assam and Arunachal
Guwahati: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on a two-day visit to the northeastern states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
During his visit to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, Rajnath Singh will review the security preparedness of the Indian Armed Forces in the Northeast.
He is also scheduled to meet Indian Armed Forces personnel stationed in Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh.
Rajnath Singh had earlier said, “I will reach Tezpur on a 2-day tour of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
He added: “During my visit, I will interact with the armed forces personnel deployed in the region and also visit the forward areas.”
Singh is “looking forward to celebrating Dussehra with the troops in Tawang” during his visit to the northeastern states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
