Rahul Gandhi, who was addressing a rally in Mizoram on Monday, attacked the ruling government for perpetrating violence across the country.
Hinging his words against the BJP, the Congress leader said the government has spread violence across the state and destroyed the concept of Manipur and it is no longer one state but two states.
Criticizing PM Modi for not paying attention to what is happening in Manipur, Rahul Gandhi said, “They attack different communities, different religions, they spread violence in the country.
They exude arrogance, lack of understanding, and are completely against the idea of ​​India. Because we believe about India that it respects everyone, protects everyone. A few months ago I went to Manipur and I couldn’t believe what I saw.
The concept of Manipur has been destroyed by BJP. It is no longer one state, now it is two states. People are killed, women are molested, children are killed but the Prime Minister does not find it important to visit the state.
It is amazing to me that the Prime Minister and the government are so interested in what is happening in Israel but not in Manipur.
“An old connection with the people of Mizoram, remember when the peace accord was signed, a new era began in Mizoram. We changed from a violent Mizoram to a peaceful Mizoram.
The older generation knows the violence and hatred prevalent in the state. A few months ago I traveled from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and covered a distance of 4000 km. Today we walked 2 km.
