Protest at India house in UK to support tribals by Kuki community

Manipur: On 14-15 May Kuki community in united kingdom hold a protest before the India House at 10 Downing street.

They protest against the atrocious behavior of Manipur govt towards ethnic violence.

The ethnic violence started on 3 May after tribals in Manipur staged a rally against Meitei inclusion in scheduled tribe list. According to reports more than 70 people died, 200 vehicles burnt ashes more than 6,000 people displaced and taking refugee in Mizoram and Assam.

The kukis tribal united are demanding stop crushing tribes in Manipur. They were holding banners describing that violence on tribal communities is state sponsored.

CM N Biren Singh should take the responsibility of the current situation and supporting the demand of separate administration by Kukis in Manipur.

They are also seeking immediate President rule in state.

They protestors are chanting slogans against Biren Singh govt stating these violence seemed to be pre-planned.

Tribals of Manipur will no longer tolerate such hatred and violence from meiteis. This is a human rights violation of the highest form!!We demand complete separation from Manipur! Thank you for your support, Unau welfare, United Kingdom!
