New Delhi: President Murmu will be on a three-day visit to Tripura and Assam from October 12, Rashtrapati Bhavan said on Tuesday.

The President will inaugurate the Tripura State Judicial Academy at Narsingarh in Agartala on Wednesday and lay the foundation stone of the Tripura National Law University.
Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement that on the same day, she will inaugurate an MLA hostel at the Capital Complex in Agartala and lay the foundation stone for various road, school and student hostel related projects of the Tripura government. .

The president will also inaugurate the Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya Museum and Cultural Center in Agartala and IIIT-Agartala from Rabindra Satta Barshiki Bhawan.
In the evening, she will attend a civic reception organized in her honor by the Tripura government at the town hall in Agartala.

On October 13 at the Agartala railway station, the President will flag off the special extension of the Guwahati-Kolkata-Guwahati train to Agartala and the extension of the Agartala-Jiribam-Agartala Jin Shatabdi Express to Khongsang in Manipur.
On the same day, at IIT Guwahati, she will virtually inaugurate and lay foundation stones of various projects of the Union Ministries of Electronics and Information Technology and Health and Family Welfare and Assam Government, the statement said.
These projects include a supercomputer facility at Param Kamrupa and a design and development facility for high power microwave components at IIT Guwahati. Medical College and Hospital at Dhubri; and Zonal Institutes of the National Institute of Virology at Dibrugarh (Assam) and Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh).

In the evening, she will attend a civic reception and cultural program organized in her honor at the Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati.
On October 14, the President will virtually inaugurate, launch and lay foundation stones of various projects of the Assam Government and the Union Ministries of Road Transport and Highways, Petroleum and Natural Gas and Railways.

These include the launch of model anganwadi centers with modern facilities and Mission Saubhagya.

Inauguration of Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s rail-fed petroleum storage depot and two highways at Moinarbond, Silchar.
She will also lay the foundation stones of 100 model secondary schools in the tea garden areas of Assam. two highway projects and a modern cargo-cum-coaching terminal at Aghtori in Guwahati; And flagged off the train from Guwahati to Lumding to Shokhuvi (Nagaland) and Mandi Pathar (Meghalaya).
