Guwahati: The Assam unit of the Aam Aadmi Party has recorded a FIR against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over the supposed abnormalities in securing PPE packs in Assam in 2020.
The AAP Assam’s Guwahati Chapter likewise organized a dissent rally against the Chief Minister requesting the Governor of Assam quickly suspended him from the post.
The AAP recorded the grievance officially at the Latasil Police Station following the dissent rally.
State Secretary Victor Gogoi who recorded the protest for the benefit of the party, affirmed irregularities in acquiring PPE packs in Assam in 2020 by the state government.

The FIR by AAP named Himanta Biswa Sarma, his better half and Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, Gyanasham Dhanuka, Rajib Bora and other unidentified people.
