
Power tariff on bills raise by 50 paisa per unit by APDCL from Feb 1
Doomdooma: Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has reported a 50 paisa for every unit expansion in power bills from February 1, charged as Fuel and Power Purchase Price Adjustment (FPPPA).
This is after a duty of 79 paise per unit on all classifications of buyers for the long stretches of November and December 2022 and January 2023.
Rising power bills are a significant weight on families, organizations and ventures, as the mix of fixed and variable charges keeps on rising.
Lona Goswami, a housewife communicated her disappointment with Media, saying, “The expansion in power bill is very unforeseen. It is extremely challenging to rebalance the family financial plan.
