Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Bamang Felix on Monday directed department officials to ensure that funds under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Grameen (PMAY-G) are released to the beneficiaries immediately to be issued.
Reviewing all the centrally sponsored schemes under the rural development and Panchayat departments here, Felix said PMAY-G should reach saturation point by November 31 this year.
An official statement said the minister directed officers to ensure timely payment of MNREGA beneficiaries and complete Aadhaar seeding and mapping of MNREGA by the end of this month.
Expressing confidence in the Project Directors (PDs) and District Panchayat Development Officers (DPDOs) to discharge their duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner, the Minister hoped that during the next review meeting, there would be a strong It will improve.
He assured them of all possible support wherever needed.
Emphasizing the importance of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP), Felix said that it is the responsibility of the Panchayati Raj Department to ensure that meetings are held to finalize the GPDP.
The meeting was attended by Project Directors/DPDOs from across the state in the presence of RD and PR Secretary Amarnath Talwade, PR Director Tamune Miso, RD Director Kego Jilen and others.
During the meeting, status reports of centrally sponsored schemes like PMAY-G, WDC-PMKSY 2.0, Amrit Sarovar, MGNREGA, and Mission Antyodia were reviewed.
