PM Modi, Shah to arrive on oath-taking cermony of Manik Saha

Tripura: All speculations aside, Dr. Manik Saha is all set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Tripura for a second term.
Sources in the ruling BJP told that NEDA convener and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a meeting with all the newly elected BJP legislators this afternoon to decide on the face of the Chief Minister.
“During the meeting, everyone unanimously agreed that Dr. Manik Saha is the next Chief Minister of Tripura. Top BJP officials as well as Hemanta himself are very satisfied with his performance.

However, this time BJP is not holding any post of Deputy Chief Minister as this post is not mandatory.
Later, another meeting was held at the BJP’s temporary election office in Agartala, to review preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of the next BJP cabinet and newly elected MLAs to be held at the Swami Vivekananda Maidan.
The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya, Union Minister of State and BJP’s winning candidate Pratima Bhoumik, BJP North East Coordinator Sambit Patra.

During the meeting all the winning BJP candidates along with other BJP leaders and district presidents were present in the meeting.
BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya while talking to reporters said that the swearing-in ceremony of BJP candidates will be held on March 08 at Swami Vivekananda Maidan.
“During the swearing-in ceremony of the new BJP cabinet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President JP Nadda will be present during the programme. After the programme, our BJP P candidates, mandal presidents, district presidents, and other BJP leaders have reached here to attend the preparatory meeting,” said the BJP president.
