Agartala: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday asserted that there is no family in Tripura which has not benefited from the policies of the BJP.
Addressing a rally here on the final day of campaigning in the constituency, Modi also said that the saffron party has left no stone unturned to develop the space as a “faithful servant” (sevak).
“Agartala has become the gateway for international trade in the Northeast, the state capital will soon become a business hub,” he noted.
The BJP “believes in the politics of change (change), not revenge”, he maintained.
Targeting the Left Front and the Congress, the PM said that both the parties want to fill their coffers without caring about the welfare of the people.
“Left and Congress can do anything to quench their hunger for power. They wrestle in Kerala and develop friendly relations in Tripura,” he said.
Modi said that people got free ration, health care assistance, housing and other facilities during the BJP rule.
“I want to assure all those who have not yet got ready houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana that they will get a house after the swearing in of the BJP government in the state,” he added.
