Passenger bus of Guwahati-Barpeta burn to ashes in Nalbari

Guwahati: A passenger bus going to Barpeta on National Highway 31 caught fire suddenly in Assam’s Nalbari district on Wednesday.

The bus that caught fire was soon reduced to ashes.

The bus was going from Guwahati to Barpeta district of Assam.

Suddenly, the fire broke out, when the bus stopped at Nalbari to unload the passengers.
The fire soon engulfed the entire bus.
Several vehicles of the fire brigade immediately reached the spot of the accident and brought the fire under control after a long struggle.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, all passengers, driver and conductor of the bus are reported to be safe.
