PASIGHAT: A group of parents, whose children will be affected by the cancellation of APPSC exams since 2014, held a general meeting at Giidii Notko Festival Ground in Pasighat on Wednesday. .
The state government had accepted the annulment following recent demands by the Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC).
Parents against the annulment have decided to protest against the decision and will demand the state government to reconsider the annulment.
After a detailed discussion on the null and void demands of the PAJSC, the Parents Against Null and Vide Committee, headed by Advocate Tuning Pertin, suggested that the state government form a screening committee to distinguish between genuine and tainted candidates. Should. Alternatively, tainted candidates may be identified and removed by CBI or SIC without affecting genuine candidates.
Pertin said that canceling the entire APPSC exams is not a solution and will have far-reaching effects.
“Parents Against Null and Wide Committee is opposing the PAJSC’s demand for annulment, as it is against the principles of natural justice and is illogical and immature for those who are currently in various departments and institutions,” Pertin said. serving in positions,” Pertin said.
Parents Smti Germany Lego Pertin and Smti Mumtak Saroh have also expressed concern and demanded natural justice for genuine and untainted candidates.
They fear that if the state government announces the entire Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) exam from 2014, the lives of these candidates will be in danger.
“As parents, we have been supporting the genuine demands of all the affected candidates to punish those involved in the APPSC paper leak case. However, the entire APPSC examination has been canceled by the APJSC. With the issue of giving, now we parents are divided. We completely oppose the illegal demands of APJSC because if such demands are implemented, many will become unemployed, which will not only affect the genuine candidates but also the future generations of those affected candidates, Germany’s Lego Pertin added.
Mumtak Saroh raised a question and said that the situation of unemployment and depression created by the Prohibition Proclamation may lead to an increase in crime in the society. Who will take responsibility in such a case?
Talom Tabing, convener of Parents Against Null & Void, has raised several serious concerns about the far-reaching impact on genuine candidates who pass the examinations based on their merit.”If hundreds of young officers and personnel serving in the state government are sacked, it will have an economic impact on their entire family and may even lead to depression and suicide. As an intellectual group , we hope that the state government will do justice to the genuine candidates and we hope for the same support and cooperation from the APJSC team,” Tabing added.
Recently, the state government agreed to meet the 13-point demand after several days of protests by the PAJSC and the public. One of the demands was to annul the entire exams from 2014, where corruption was found. It remains to be seen how the State Government pursues the claims of both the PAJSC and the parents against nullity and void, as both the claims are genuine.
