Imphal: Manipur’s Kuki people’s apex body Kuki Inpi on Monday extended its support to the organization of a mass rally by the United Naga Council (UNC) in the Naga-dominated areas.
UNC, the apex organization of Nagas in Manipur organized a public rally on August 9 in the Naga areas of Manipur to resolve the Indo-Naga political issue based on the framework agreement reached in New Delhi on August 5, 2015.
“At a critical time when the Kukis of Manipur are being subjected to ‘ethnic cleansing’ by the majority Meiteis, aided and abetted by the state machinery, Kuki Inpi Manipur has proposed a public fully supported the rally.
