Imphal: As Manipur is gripped by ethnic unrest due to clashes between Meitei and Kuki tribes, incidents of looting and arson have been reported in the past few weeks.
According to sources, it has now been revealed that a total of more than 4,000 weapons, including sophisticated weapons, have been looted from various locations in Manipur since the start of the unrest.
Further sources have also revealed that apart from these weapons, the rioters have also looted around 500,000 rounds of ammunition in the last several weeks.
