New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called an all-party meeting in New Delhi on the current situation in Manipur.
MHA spokesperson tweeted, “Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah has called an all-party meeting in New Delhi on June 24 at 3 pm to discuss the situation in Manipur.
Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma met Shah at his residence today at 9.00 pm on Manipur issues.
On June 16, the Congress had called for an “all-party meeting” on the violence in Manipur, saying the country needed a response from the government on the conflict that was spiraling out of control.
