OIL on high alert after Assam Police intelligence input of potential attack by ULFA (I)
DIBRUGARH: Security has been amplified in Oil India Limited (OIL) workplaces in Duliajan and its establishments in upper Assam following a knowledge input that ULFA (I) is intending to complete an assault on its fundamental establishments and seize its authorities.
A crisis security audit meeting was called by top OIL authorities to examine the conceivable danger to OIL establishment.
During the crisis security audit meeting, all chiefs and representatives of the public area organization have been coordinated to observe the guideline working system (SOP) and directions as the alarm were of a “genuine” sort. OIL representative Tridiv Hazarika said that a crisis security meeting was hung on May 17 at OIL’s field central command in Duliajan in wake of the turn of events.
