NSCN-IM, NNPGs holds crucial talks with Center on Naga issue

New Delhi: The Government of India (GoI) held an important meeting with representatives of NSCN-IM and NNPGs in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Central government representatives held separate meetings with NSCN-IM and NNPGs.
The meetings were held with two main agendas on the table, one of which was to find an early solution to the Naga problem.

The GoI has reportedly said that it is keen to find an early solution to the Naga political issue.
The meeting was reportedly held with the dual agenda of moving towards a final settlement of the long-standing Naga issue and trying to de-escalate Manipur’s current status as a neutral entity.
