Northeast Woman shockingly molested in Guwahati by two men

Guwahati: The police have arrested two men in connection with the alleged molestation of a woman in Guwahati, Assam on Sunday morning.

The accused had been identified as Alok Ghosh and Bipul Singh.

They allegedly molested the woman in the Lalganesh locality on Sunday morning.

The victim, who hails from Silchar, is a tenant residing in the Fatasil Ambari area.

According to reports, three men with a criminal reputation arrived in a car and forced her to get inside.

The woman was allegedly molested by the men in the car.

Following the incident, the police apprehended two suspects, while a third remains absconding.

The vehicle allegedly used in the crime has also been seized by the police from the Fatasil Ambari police station.

A search is underway to nab the third accused identified as Pradeep Dey.
