Northeast likely to witness heavy rains by the end of this week

Guwahati: Heavy rain is expected in all the eight northeastern states on Friday (September 22).

Heavy rain and thundershowers are forecast over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.
On the other hand, widespread rain and thundershowers may lash Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Heavy rain with thundershowers may drench Sikkim, Tripura and Mizoram on September 22.
Light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rain with thundershowers and isolated rain may drench Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Manipur.
