Nagaland: SC Jamir accuses CM Neiphiu Rio of being ‘inefficient and corrupt’

Kohima: Nagaland: SC Jamir accuses CM Neiphiu Rio of being ‘inefficient and corrupt’. Veteran Naga politician SC Jamir has accused Nagaland Chief Minister Nephew Rio of being “incompetent and corrupt”.
Jamir added that “extra-constitutional elements” were trying to establish their supremacy in the state of Nagaland.
“We have a scenario where the constitutional government is dysfunctional and corrupt. There are many extra-constitutional elements whose sole purpose is to establish their supremacy through inter-sectarian strife and illegal extortion.
He said the state of Nagaland had been “held hostage by armed underground groups” in the eyes of the state government.
He wrote: “Nagaland needs to be freed from the clutches of this deadly monster.”
“There is a clear change in the mood of the people of Nagaland,” Jamir added.
“Ideological observers have failed to note that there is anger against anti-social and anti-national elements. A passionate desire for a peaceful and progressive environment and a practical solution to the Naga problem,” SC Jamir said in the article.
