Nagaland NSCN-IM : Centre conspiring to negate Framework Agreement. NSCN-I-M alleges that the central government is trying to introduce a new revised version of the 16-point agreement and is denying the ‘framework agreement’ signed on August 3, 2015.
NSCN-IM said in a statement, “The state of ongoing Naga political dialogue is unfortunate as thugs are targeting the destruction of the ‘framework agreement’ with the blessings of the central government,” NSCN-IM said in a statement.
“Nowhere in the world has NSCN-IM seen such an immoral political ploy,” he said.
“The elements of fraud, deception, duplicity, double dealing and betrayal were inflicted by the intelligence agencies of the Government of India in the same manner as when the state of Nagaland was formed under a 16-point agreement,” it said.
“Interestingly, when the convener of the NNPGs, Katovi, traveled to Arunachal Pradesh to meet the Nagas of Tirup, Longding and Changlang, He was accompanied by the Assam Rifles,” NSCN-IM said.
“Ironically, some Naga CSOs were put in a position to declare their support for a consensus position but under pressure,” he added.
“These Naga CSOs who could have come to Hebron told us very clearly that they are for a real Naga political solution and not otherwise. Others who could not come were depressed and told us that the Arunachal administration, the police and the Assam Rifles warned and stopped them from going to Hebron, “NSCN-IM said.
“Such an approach by the central government is more of a nuisance than a catastrophe, but it can be avoided if sincerity and democratic transparency are not kept in the cold,” it added. ‘
NSCN-IM : Centre conspiring , It said such a highly insulting approach to undermining Naga’s political problems is the most disturbing thing that comes at a crucial stage in Naga’s political process.
