Nagaland hosts ‘Baby League’ to nurture players for future

Kohima: In a first-of-its-sort move, the Department of Youth Resources and Sports coordinated a Grassroot Football Festival named ‘Child League’on May 14 at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima.

The drive by the office is pointed toward supporting youthful brandishing abilities of the state.

As indicated by the office, the child association saw a support of 120 kids, including 85 young men and 35 young ladies, from the age gathering of Under-12. The kids were guided by three state football trainers of the office.

Dovo Chase, Deputy Director of Youth Resources and Sports, said that the celebration was started to prepare proficient footballers and furthermore to support youthful abilities.

He said the celebration intends to grow another age of players and give a stage to the youngsters to partake in the sport of football on the astro-turf pitch.
