KOHIMA: Nagaland Director General of Police (DGP) T John Longkumar on Friday said that police is a public service which affects a large section of the society more seriously than any other government agency.
Addressing the Police Day commemoration ceremony at the New Police Reserve here in Phisama, the DGP said that as the country celebrates the 75th anniversary of independence, there is a realization that the ethos of policing has shifted from enforcement to enforcement.
